of best practices for serving children who have neurological visual impairment (such as Cerebral/Cortical Visual Impairment, stroke, etc.) and their families through the application of the following principles:
  • Neuroanatomy
  • Assessment (including but not limited to the CVI Range)
  • Intervention
  • Collaborative teaming

October 25, 2018: Opioid Education for Optometrists
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

In order for optometrists with OEG or OET license classifications to renew their licenses for the next renewal period, Pennsylvania optometrists must complete at least two hours of continuing education in pain management, the identification of addiction or the practices of prescribing or dispensing opioids. The continuing education will count towards the total number of continuing education credits required for renewal. It will not count towards the 6 hours required to maintain therapeutic certification.
