Dr. Michael Pro to Discuss Contemporary Co-Management of Glaucoma

On Sunday, March 19 from 8:00 to 9:40 a.m., Michael Pro, MD, will discuss Contemporary Co-management of Glaucoma: A Case-Based Approach as part of the Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) Dynamic Duos continuing education program at the Hafter Student Community Center.

Junior Faculty Feature: Jamie Maffit

A native of Montana, Jamie Maffit grew up surrounded by the great outdoors and everything illustrated in country tunes written about small hometowns. When researching undergraduate institutions, she decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of Montana, double majoring in Sociology and French. Upon graduating, she spent one year as an AmeriCorps volunteer working closely with underserved teens at a middle school just outside of Portland, Oregon.

Junior Faculty Feature: Bre Myers

At an early age, Dr. Bre Myers acquired a profound love for music and found herself intrigued at how certain songs, sounds, and lyrics could generate such intense feelings in different individuals. Studying the ear appeared to be a natural fit for her.

Junior Faculty Feature: Carrie Knight

After taking linguistics elective while earning her undergraduate degree, Dr. Carrie Knight fell in love with the concept of language, and found the ability to analyze varying aspects of communication both rewarding and challenging. “All it took was one elective to influence my life’s work,” said Dr. Knight.
