With a heart and smile as big as he is tall, Alfred Mwamba, AuD ’15, is the first – and currently only – certified audiologist in his native Zambia, which has a population of 15 million. His certification number is 00001.
For more than a half century, John Duncan Robinson, OD ’54, was an influential and driving force for the profession of optometry from his home base in Wallace, North Carolina.
This year’s Alumni Weekend (April 1-3) had much to offer PCO and Salus graduates. The weekend contained many opportunities for attendees to renew old friendships, visit campus and clinical facilities, and attend receptions and the awards dinner.
The Salus University community was saddened by the passing of Dr. A. “Gus” Michael Iatesta ’52, emeritus member of the Board of Trustees and former chairman of the Board, on February 26.
