The Clinical Assessment Lab, located in the South Wing of the University provides a state of the art environment to gain the necessary skills for patient evaluation.

Training mannequins and simulators are used for clinical assessments within the lab to enable students to use techniques they will be utilizing in clinical practice.

The lab is also used to develop a functional understanding of appropriate uses and interpretations of clinical labs, radiographs, spirometry, blood work, EKGs and glucose testing. Students are able to learn to select, interpret and evaluate these clinical laboratory tests as well as imaging and other diagnostic tests used for treating and managing patient needs.

Physician assistant and optometry students are also able to develop hands-on experience with using electronic health records (EHR) with faculty guidance within this lab.
