President and CEO of the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia, Donna Frisby-Greenwood, has been announced as the recipient of Salus University’s third annual “Looking Out for Kids” Lighthouse Award. She will accept the award at the thirteenth annual “Looking Out for Kids” (LOFK) fundraising event on November 3, 2018 at Hilton City Avenue in Philadelphia.
Last week, Salus faculty members participated in a University faculty development session comprised of two days of lectures to advance their knowledge in several areas. They also had a chance to socialize with colleagues at the faculty social.
Kylie Auman, OD ‘18 has a lot to be proud of. Not only did she recently graduate with her doctorate while attending the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s Accelerated Scholars program, but she is also the first Scholars program graduate to begin her residency at The Eye Institute (TEI) of Salus University. It was a lot of hard work and dedication - with a little bit of her infectious optimism sprinkled in - that led Dr. Auman to obtain this position.
Over 300 new Salus University students attended Orientation week that consisted of introductions, welcomes and lectures for each program as well as a multi-day student resource fair.
