Since her 2011 residency at the Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic in Denham Springs, Louisiana, Dr. Khanh Nghi Trinh ’10, has acquired a few more roles than that of full-time optometrist: wife, first-time home owner, president of the Central Louisiana Optometric Society and proud owner of Buddy, a Labrador/Doberman mix.
Recently, Salus University, in collaboration with the China Optometric and Optical Association (COOA), held it’s first-ever commencement ceremony for eight students enrolled in the Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Optometry degree program.
A member of the inaugural physician assistant class, Emily Parker worked full
time in family practice from October 2009 to January 2014. After the birth of daughter, Ms. Parker made the decision
to go part-time and now shares her experiences.
