Salus University encourages the community at large to take advantage of the fresh start prompted by the end of a year and the beginning of a New Year. Giving back is a core value of the Salus community, especially during the holiday season. In the past few weeks, donation boxes and charitable acts could be seen all over campus.
Veterans of all ages were able to have their vision, hearing, balance and speech-language abilities screened at the first Veterans Readiness Initiative (VRI) event this year. The screenings were provided on November 20 during the Veteran’s Expo at Montgomery County Community College.
From November 16-18, the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) hosted clinic directors, administrators and externship directors from optometry schools across the U.S. and Canada for a conference in the City of Brotherly Love.
