Salus University and its clinical facilities will be closed Monday, May 28, 2018 in observance of Memorial Day.
More than 160 of the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) students entered the Hafter Student Center on the evening of Friday, December 8 for an educational program on the InfantSEE initiative.
Bisant Labib, OD ’14, assistant professor, was recently named co-chief of Suite 3 in the primary care services at The Eye Institute, the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s (PCO) clinical training facility. Melissa Trego, OD ’04, PCO dean, recently announced Dr. Labib’s new role to the University community.
Dr. Erin Jenewein, assistant professor in the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry, was recently named a Diplomate in Binocular Vision, Perception and Pediatric Optometry from the American Academy of Optometry.
Veterans of all ages were able to have their vision, hearing, balance and speech-language abilities screened at the first Veterans Readiness Initiative (VRI) event this year. The screenings were provided on November 20 during the Veteran’s Expo at Montgomery County Community College.
From November 16-18, the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) hosted clinic directors, administrators and externship directors from optometry schools across the U.S. and Canada for a conference in the City of Brotherly Love.
