Susan C. Oleszewski, OD ‘76, MA – or “Dr. O” as she is more familiarly known – is a Salus icon. In her nearly four decade career at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) and Salus University, she has served in a variety of didactic, clinical and administrative capacities.

The 22nd annual Transitions Academy was held February 11-14 at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. This is the first year the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) sent representatives to participate.
Students in the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) start a limited primary care externship rotation during the final quarter of the third year. During the fourth year, students have three additional rotations with an emphasis on ocular diseases, contact lenses and interprofessional health care within hospital settings.
