The University’s Bennett Career Services Center recently held a successful Transition to Practice event for the second year, while adding a new Career and Resource Fair to the mix. The Transition to Practice initiative was originally initiated to help provide students’ access to resources and the tools necessary to successfully transition from lives as students to emerging healthcare professionals.
In a span of a week, three candidates up for a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedicine successfully defended their dissertations in late March, and early April. The three received their degrees during the May 24 commencement ceremonies.

It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” This sentiment was expressed on several occasions to Salus University’s graduating class throughout the week of May 21, leading up to Spring Commencement on Thursday.
On Thursday and Friday, May 17 and 18, the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) 2017 – 2018 residency class participated in the third annual Residents Days continuing education event. The two-day program was jam-packed with lectures from on and off campus residents on various eye care related topics before attending the residency program graduation.
