Salus University welcomes Drs. Doan Kwak and Erin Sherman as assistant professors and clinical instructors at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s clinical facility, The Eye Institute (TEI).
Dr. Kwak graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelor’s degree in both biology and psychology. In 2012, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with high honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. She completed her primary care and ocular disease residency at TEI the following year, where she provided pre-op and post-op care and managed patients in TEI’s emergency service. Dr. Kwak will be seeing patients at both TEI’s Oak Lane and East Falls locations and overseeing students working at TEI.
Dr. Sherman earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with clinical honors in 2016 from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). That same year she was a recipient of the Allergan Resident Travel Fellowship. In 2017, Dr. Sherman completed her residency with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System with a focus on ocular disease. Dr. Sherman will be seeing patients at both TEI’s Oak Lane and Chestnut Hill locations and overseeing students working at TEI.
