A tradition of leadership and excellence for nearly nine decades marks the history of the innovative institution we now call Salus University.  Originally founded as a college of optometry in 1919, the University has maintained and continually expanded its focus on excellence in academics and clinical education.

Today, Salus University offers graduate and professional degree programs in high-growth, high opportunity programs ranging from Optometry, Audiology, and Physician Assistant to Education and Rehabilitation for the Blind and Visually Impaired.  Our graduates are in demand as they are well prepared, highly skilled, and ready for leadership in their chosen professions.   Changes in our health care delivery system are significantly altering every facet of healthcare.  Rapid advancements in technology are an integral part of today’s standard practice.
