Maura Keenan, MBA
Maura Keenan was appointed to the position of vice president, Human Resources and Administrative Services, effective January 1, 2015. Prior to joining the University, Ms. Keenan was the executive director at Weir & Partners, LLP, a Philadelphia-based law firm. With an extensive background of more than 20 years in human resources and administration in both not-for-profit and for-profit environments, Ms. Keenan’s experience includes strategic management in operations and finance as well as human resources.
Working directly with the President of the University, Maura is responsible for the University’s Human Resources Administration, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Training and Organizational Development and Affirmative Action.
Ms. Keenan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey and a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in Human Resources Management from California State University.
A member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Ms. Keenan also was a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) from 2005 through 2010, and served as that organization’s treasurer in 2007 and 2008.
