Blindness and Low Vision Studies
Salus University students have created an on-campus environment for themselves that is focused and friendly. They are dedicated students who enjoy their time together - in the classroom, as part of a student professional organization, volunteering in the community, or at a casual get-together.
The Hafter Student Community Center is the premier campus meeting place for students, with a large well-furnished and comfortable student lounge area in addition to the pool tables, foosball tables, large screen TVs and small meeting rooms reserved specifically for student use.
Classes, labs and clinical rotations plus busy home lives do not slow Salus University students down, and our many active student organizations are proof of this.
The University encourages students from all programs to support the student organizations represented on campus. Many organizations are profession specific, such as Students in Optometric Service to Humanity (SOSH); however, the Lions Cluband other student organizations welcome students from all of our degree programs.
Our students also have a number of social events on and off campus throughout the year. Student life at Salus University is vibrant, providing multiple opportunities for fun as well as service.
