Public Advisory Council Members & Representatives
PCO has a long history of working collaboratively with other organization at the international, national, state and local levels. PCO recognizes that such an effort as the NCLVI requires the advice and participation of others beyond the University system. It is imperative that PCO obtain the counsel from individuals with disabilities, parent groups, state departments of education, and others throughout the greater community. PCO has therefore requested that several organizations representing these groups participate in the NCLVI by serving as public advisors. All the organizations listed have agreed to serve in this capacity. It is anticipated that this group will grow as the NCLVI continues its work. Presently, the following organizations comprise the NCLVI Public Advisors. It is anticipated that this group will meet in the first and fifth year of the project face-to-face, and other meetings will be primarily through conference calls, and that individual organizations' representatives will be asked to participate in face-to-face meetings or in the enrichment programs as determined by topic, issues and needs being addressed by the NCLVI.
