William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center
The William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center is located on the lower level of The Eye Institute on our Oak Lane campus.
The Center's multidisciplinary staff provides adaptive equipment, rehabilitative services and information to patients who have experienced vision loss from congenital ocular conditions and diseases such as age-related macular degeneration or glaucoma.
The Feinbloom Center’s multidisciplinary team of optometrists, ophthalmologists, social workers and certified low vision specialists develops low vision strategies to help patients with visual impairment to achieve goals such as reading, identifying street signs and bus numbers, watching television, managing household and job-related tasks, and keeping up with school work.
The Feinbloom Center is also associated with the Special Populations Assessment and Rehabilitation Center (SPARC), a comprehensive evaluation of children with special needs.
