Clinical Research/Specialty:

I have been studying and/or teaching about the promotion of health and wellness, meaningful role participation and well-being of mothers/women and their families across the life cycle for the past 2 decades, especially mothers with multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury.  More recently, my research has integrated Positive Psychology with the International Classification of Function, Disability and Health (ICF) of the World Health Organization (WHO, 2002) within the context of Occupational Therapy. Also since 2017, I have been collaborating with Occupational Therapy clinicians and leaders nationally, who are practicing or studying various aspects of Occupational Therapy for Women's Health.
