Speech-Language Pathology Observation Experience

The Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program and the Speech-Language Institute (SLI) of Salus University invite undergraduate students in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD), or post-baccalaureate students taking Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) coursework, to participate in a remote observation experience at Salus. The observation program will provide CSD majors with an opportunity to virtually interact with American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - certified and Pennsylvania-licensed speech-language pathologists and current graduate SLP students as they work with a range of clients - from infants and toddlers to older adults - with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders at our on-campus clinical facility.

The observation program will be held at SLI via WebEx, allowing the student to observe sessions remotely, with two undergrads per session. This program is limited to any CSD major in his/her junior or senior year, or a post-baccalaureate student taking SLP coursework, who is not currently an applicant to the program.

If interested, please complete the online participation form and select potential dates. Please note we cannot take individual requests to see specific types of clients or sessions at this time, but we can guarantee that you will see a variety of clients while observing at SLI.
