Twenty four years ago this month, marked the 75th year since the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) was chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Throughout the 1994-95 academic year, PCO celebrated its Diamond Anniversary with several monumental activities - one of the highlights being an unforgettable weekend in May 1995 when alumni and special friends were invited back to campus and to experience the City of Brotherly Love for three exceptional days of commemorative activities. In conjunction with the yearlong celebration and special events, commemorative banners were displayed along W. Godfrey Avenue to signify to the surrounding community the distinctive anniversary and legacy of PCO in the Philadelphia area.
