How does the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) help students?
SACM is an organization that assists many Saudi students studying in the United States. It serves as a liaison between Saudi Arabian institutions and U.S. schools in ensuring tuition payments are made in a timely manner. It also provides oversight to the students to ensure they are actively engaged in their studies.
Representatives from SACM stay in close communication with the students from Saudi Arabia and monitor their schedules, grades and other relevant information. SACM also provides funding for students to receive tutoring in their programs and/or in English language training prior to the start of their degree programs. In addition, it offers funding for laptops, books and attendance at specific conferences that will support the students’ educational experience in the U.S.

Why did you choose Salus?
I was looking for a program that would give me a lot of clinical experience. Salus was the only program I found that could do that. From the first term, I started going to clinics and seeing patients. What I was learning in class, I was keeping that information in my mind. When I saw how that information could be utilized with patients, I was able to practice in the clinic what I had learned in class.
