“Day in the Life” Series

It’s important for prospective students to have an idea of what a “Day in the Life” of a master’s or doctorate level education is like, especially here at Salus. Many ask, “What is the ‘typical’ day like for a Salus student?” While there is no way to specifically answer that, given the variety of interests of the students here as well as the expectations and curriculum within the various programs, the University’s “Day in the Life” series can give a prospective student a sense of what a typical day looks like in each year – clinical and didactic – within each of our programs.

My name is Timaj Yusuf. I chose to attend Salus University because it's not too far from home. I was born and raised in Maryland, and Salus is only a short two-hour drive. There is one occupational therapy school in Maryland, but I wanted a change, so I decided to move out of state.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Messiah College, where I majored in Applied Health Science and minored in Psychology. Hello everyone! Our names are Jessica Maguire and Madison Ochs. We are both second-year Occupational Therapy (OT) students at Salus University. Hi! My name is Mauli Chothani and I am a second-year Occupational Therapy (OT) student at Salus University, graduating in May 2020. I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, in 2018 with a major in Kinesiology and Health. I decided to attend grad school at Salus University because of the curriculum, 100% board pass rate, and interdisciplinary opportunities between the other healthcare programs.
