Darnel James ‘23OD is the historian for the University’s National Optometric Student Association (NOSA), and as such, historical perspective is important to him. So when he had the chance to participate in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Jan. 20 with seven other NOSA students, it made a significant meaning impact to him.
As a new Salus University Board of Trustees member, Joyce Koh was invited to the September 2019 meeting for an advance look at what might be store for her when she officially joined the board in January 2020. And, what she saw impressed her.
Drs. Mittelman and Vitek, director of International and Continuing Education, were able to squeeze in a little exercise on a recent trip to China and Singapore, but most of their time was taken up with the primary mission of the trip – to fulfill Salus University’s mission of advancing integrated healthcare through innovative education, research and clinical sciences and to impact the future of healthcare education and professional practice.
Dr. Mark Miriello, a primary care optometrist and PCO instructor, and Dr. Kelly Salmon, a Speech-Language Pathology assistant professor, have joined the faculty at Salus University.
Jennifer Benoit ‘22OD loves being a student ambassador. Not only does she get to conduct tours for prospective students and help with University events like commencement and the Dean’s Winterfest, but she gets to meet a lot of interesting people.
