In the spring 2019 Centennial Edition of the Alumni Magazine, we featured Dr. Albert Fitch, who was a true visionary. His vision has been continued and expanded upon at PCO and later, Salus University, by the men who have occupied the president’s chair since Dr. Fitch was at the helm and who have continued to build on his dreams.
To clear up any lingering confusion, there is a difference between the post-professional and entry-level doctoral programs in Occupational Therapy (OTD).
“It’s something that we can do to attract students to this area with high-profile, high-quality programs and specialized programs,” said Dr. Eckert. “And then keep them here if we collaborate and provide them with employment opportunities. That was the message that Dr. Eckert delivered to those attending he second annual “Invest: Philadelphia 2020” event Dec. 5 at the Westin in Philadelphia.
An art exhibition titled “Nor Wind Nor Water” is now on display through Jan. 19, 2020, at the D’Arrigo Family Gallery in the Hafter Student Community Center at Salus University.
The wheels on this bus need to keep going round and round, but lately it hasn’t been reliable, breaking down on occasion. But now, the Big Red Bus – which helps so many schoolchildren in the area receive the eye care they need – could use some help itself. It plays an integral part of the success of the University’s Looking Out for Kids charity program, making it possible to meet children where they are in school and go to school districts in the Philadelphia region.
