Salus University’s 120th commencement was Friday, May 22, and was the University’s first-ever virtual ceremony, an event forced online because of the COVID-19 pandemic that has closed the campus and all big events throughout the state since mid-March.
Dr. Anthony Di Stefano, who has been associated with the University in some capacity for more than 50 years, received a Doctor of Science Honorary Degree at the University’s 120th commencement May 22, 2020 — the first virtual commencement in the institution’s history.

It is with sadness that Salus University announces the passing of Harry Kaplan, OD ‘49, FAAO, of Moorestown, N.J., a nationally recognized contact lens specialist and longtime faculty member who served the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) for 52 years.
A 2009 graduate of the University of Calgary and a 2013 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry, Bhawan Minhas, OD, FAAO, Resident ’13, completed her residency in Primary Care at The Eye Institute (TEI) and immediately thereafter became a faculty member of the University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO).
