Spring Commencement will take place at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
One of the unique offerings of the University’s Physician Assistant (PA) Program is its early clinical exposure which is incorporated into the didactic, competency-based curriculum. Within a few weeks of starting their fall semester, newly matriculated students are exposed to patients in a hospital setting, in small groups facilitated by PA program faculty. These experiences allow students to practice history-taking and physical examination techniques learned concurrently in the classroom.
That’s Salus University Physician Assistant Studies student, Erik Baish ‘18, reveling in his somewhat offbeat hobby as…a lumberjack. Baish first entered the world of tree-cutting as a student at Colby College in Maine, where he was studying physics and mathematical science.
Physician Assistant (PA) students will showcase their capstone presentations from Monday, September 25 through Wednesday, October 3.
The workshop was developed to provide initial exposure to the pediatric patient population for the PA students prior to the start of their clinical rotations in September.
