Salus and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) have signed a second articulation agreement. With the new 4+2 Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program Articulation Agreement, Salus will now offer to select undergraduate Natural Sciences and Mathematics students at IUP, who meet all prerequisite criteria, an invitation to interview for admission consideration to Salus University’s PA program.
Salus is now accepting applications for its newest program: Post-baccalaureate in Health Sciences. While Salus offers professional and graduate degrees as well as certificate programs, this is the first Post-baccalaureate for the University.
Salus University continues a legacy that began almost 100 years ago with the founding of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). Dr. Albert Fitch, PCO’s founder, was considered a visionary by his peers yet a revolutionary by others. Now, as Salus University celebrates its 10th anniversary, and the founding college celebrates its 100th anniversary, we invite our alumni and friends to honor the legacy that has shaped the professions it serves.
On Friday, April 26, 2019, thirty-five additional notable individuals will be awarded Presidential Medals to commemorate the 100th anniversary of PCO and the 10th anniversary of Salus. Every Saturday, we will highlight a few of the new awardees. This week's are Drs. Verma, Dayhaw-Barker, Browne and Di Stefano.
This year, the Salus University Alumni Association Awards will be awarded in one ceremony as part of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) Centennial Gala weekend. Each year, the University’s Alumni Association recognizes the professional contributions and achievements of graduates and friends of the institution. Awardees are nominated by alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of Salus.
