Dining with Diabetes is a free five-week program The Eye Institute of Salus University is coordinating in conjunction with Penn State Cooperative Extension. The goal of this program is to help participants understand the most important aspects about managing life with diabetes. A registered dietitian or certified diabetes educator will lead discussions regarding planning healthy meals, physical activity ideas, and important numbers to know. Lab tests will be offered to measure HbA1c values. Classes begin on February 26th, and will be held at The Eye Institute's main site - 1200 West Godfrey Avenue from 9:30 a.m. - 11: 30 a.m. Registration is required and the registration deadline is February 13th.
