A Salus Pennsylvania College of Optometry
tradition continued on Friday, January 27, at the annual EyeBall, a night of dinner and dancing. The event, held at Tendenza, symbolizes the end of the students’ on campus learning and the start of true off campus clinical and specialty experiences, according to Leslie Gauntlett ‘18OD, president of the Salus/PCO Class of 2018. “The EyeBall is held annually for all third year optometry students and scholars (graduating at the same time) before we embark on our externships,” she said.
Soon after the celebration, everyone in the class will be on their own path towards fulfilling their degree. “This night is a great way to commemorate our accomplishments thus far and simultaneously say best of luck to your future,” said Gauntlett.
Attendees made many memories sharing this final evening together, enjoying amazing food and great dancing—with music provided by DJ Darryl Burrs from the University’s Office of Technology and Library Services.
