ise funds to grow our programs and facilities. We also seek opportunities to recognize pillars of the Salus community who have left indelible marks on the institution and its graduates.
Longtime optometry and neuro-anatomy educator Lorraine Lombardi, PhD, certainly ranks among those individuals. We recently unveiled the University’s largest and newest classroom
, which is named in her honor after her nearly 50 years of service.
It is with donations that we are able to continue to build the most technologically advanced classrooms that ensure our students continue to receive the best possible education.
In today’s world, where education costs can be an obstacle the Salus University Centennial Campaign will make sure nothing—least of all financial burdens—stands between our students and their goals.
It was a scholarship, made possible through donations, that has helped Rhea Malaaluan, ‘18 AuD continue to pursue her dreams of becoming an audiologist. “Having a scholarship meant taking out fewer loans,” she said. “My scholarship is merit-based, which makes me want to work extra hard and it gives me an extra drive to always give 110 percent.”
Whether you donate $191.90 or $1,919 in honor of the centennial celebration in 2019 of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), or a different amount, please know any and all donations are received with great appreciation.
