Recently, Salus University administration met with visitors from India and Jordan to discuss opportunities for collaboration on several degree programs offered at the University.
During the week of September 12, visitors from the Rehabilitation Council of India arrived in Elkins Park for a meeting to establish action plans for the accreditation and implementation of audiology-related programs in India. In addition, visitors from the Al Ahliyya Amman University in Jordan met with Salus administration to discuss partnership strategies specifically related to the Doctor of Optometry and Doctor of Audiology degree programs. President Mittelman and Dr. Scharre, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, plan to visit Al Ahliyya Amman University in the upcoming months.
According to Dr. Melissa Vitek, director of International and Continuing Education at Salus, the recent interest in the University from high quality institutions and potential partners from around the globe has been both exciting and motivating. “Many positive improvements have been made to the international programs at the University; strong initiatives and new developments show outstanding progress and promise, said Dr. Vitek. “I look forward to what the future holds for Salus' international programs."
