Kimberly “Kim” Blodgett was recently named director of Annual Giving in the University’s Office of Institutional Advancement.
In this role, Blodgett will be responsible for planning and coordinating multi-faceted Annual Giving and fund campaigns for various constituencies including alumni, parents, students, and patients. Additionally, she will develop donation proposals for assigned donors and work to identify new prospects for the University.
“We look forward to what Kim will bring to the table, given her previous experience,” said Dennis Washington, MP, vice president for Institutional Advancement and Community Relations.
Previously, Blodgett served as the annual fund and advancement coordinator for KenCrest, a charity organization that provides community-based support for over 12,000 people with intellectual disabilities throughout the northeast region.
Prior to that, she was a development associate for The Center of Discovery, a research and specialty center that offers residential, medical and special education programs for individuals with disabilities. In the past, Blodgett also worked for American Friends of Tel Aviv University as an administrative assistant and Meals on Wheels Association of America as the assistant director of development.
Blodgett has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Mary Washington, in Fredericksburg, Va.
