If it’s August, it must be time to welcome new members of the Salus community. On Monday, students in the University’s Class of 2019 (Optometry and Audiology) and the Class of 2017 (Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology) arrived on campus. Welcome to Salus, ladies and gentlemen. We love that you're here!

Always an exciting time on campus, the goal of Orientation is to ensure that new Salus students receive the information and training they need to be successful in their professional and graduate programs. Incoming students get their bearings during a week’s worth of seminars, classes and activities. The entire week is closely scheduled and includes presentations from University deans, directors and staff, a special seminar on cultural competence, and meetings within individual programs. It is a week of excitement mixed with a bit of confusion, but faculty, staff and student volunteers are always available to answer questions and give directions.

The University’s Office of Admissions and Student Council have many fun activities planned for the evenings that give students a chance to get acquainted in a more relaxed atmosphere. Some of the fun this week will include a Phillies game, Trivia Night and, for the first time, Blitz-Ball.

Don't forget to tag ‪#‎SalusUniversity‬ and ‪#‎IChoseSalus ‬in your social media posts so we can share them.
