Jacqueline Patterson was recently named director of Major Gifts in the University’s Office of Institutional Advancement.
In this role, Patterson will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing the University’s major gift program. She will not only manage and cultivate relationships with existing major gift prospects, but she will be responsible for identifying new prospects.
Previously, Patterson served as the chief advancement officer for Fund Development at EducationWorks, a nonprofit organization that provides academic support, career readiness, and enrichment programming throughout Greater Philadelphia.
Prior to that, she was the chief development officer at Northern Children’s Services, a nonprofit that supports healthy development of children while stabilizing their families to build stronger communities. From 2009 through 2014, Patterson was vice president of Organizational Advancement at the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education.
Patterson has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Science and a Master in Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management/Finance both from New York University. She also has a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Bryn Mawr College.
