Emily Butterworth, Occupational Therapy

Why did you choose Salus?

Emily hugging child in BelizeI chose Salus because of its reputable name and longstanding, successful Occupational Therapy (OT) program. Their Master of Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program stood out to me because of their high graduating percentage and pass rate on the NBCOT certification exam. The team of professors truly has a passion for the world of occupational therapy and wants each of their students to gain the knowledge and skill set to be successful. As an OT student at Salus, I would not have gotten some of the opportunities I could experience without them. I am grateful to have been able to attend the AOTA 2024 conference in Orlando, Florida, with fellow Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) executive board members and travel to the country of Belize for a 10-day level 1 fieldwork rotation. These experiences hold such high value to me and are part of the reason I am grateful for choosing Salus.
