To all Incoming Students:
I want to again congratulate you on your acceptance to Salus. We are thrilled you’ve chosen Salus to pursue your professional degrees.
As we begin to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is incumbent upon all of us to do everything we can to ensure we stop the spread of this virus in its tracks. As healthcare professionals, we have a greater obligation to set the example for others by being vaccinated. Not only is it your responsibility, but this will help to ensure we are protecting the health and safety of your faculty, classmates, and those you will care for and work closely with.
In support of Salus University’s commitment to health and safety for all members of its community, we are requiring all students, faculty and staff to obtain an FDA-approved (or foreign equivalent for non-US residents) COVID-19 full vaccination.
More information here.
As a member of the Salus community, we have a solemn responsibility to ensure we do everything we can to help keep our patients, clients, colleagues and each other healthy and safe and avoid spreading the virus.
Available vaccines have proven to be safe and highly effective and are plentiful now. If you haven’t yet been vaccinated, please take the time to find a site where you can get your jab. It’s the only way we’re going to minimize the spread of variants, end this pandemic and get back to normal.
I look forward to welcoming you to campus soon. Being fully vaccinated will help you become SALUS STRONG!
Sincerely,
President Mittelman
