What’s old is new again. The Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) at Drexel University’s Elkins Park campus is embarking on an exciting journey that may be familiar to many – the revival of PCO World, the College’s monthly newsletter.
PCO World ran as a print product until 2008, when PCO established Salus University. At that time, it was replaced by the Alumni Magazine of Salus University and Salutations became the monthly newsletter both internally and externally. When the magazine was sunset in spring 2024, Salutations continued as the online method for delivering news from all Salus University’s programs to alumni and friends.
Since the merger of Salus University and Drexel University in July 2025, PCO has officially become a college within Drexel. And with that exciting new chapter comes the return of its newsletter, PCO World. The revived newsletter will be brimming with alumni stories, student achievements, clinical content from The Eye Institute, updates and more.
