Introducing... Sal the Salamander

Salus University Sal the Salamander Sal the Salamander was born on a sweltering summer day in Philadelphia’s own Fairmount Park in July 2008. He stands proud at four inches tall, has orange speckled skin, and dons a crisp Salus white coat.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in mascot-ology, Sal completed the appropriate prerequisites and was officially accepted to Salus University. He settled into his pond-view apartment, and began studying every program the University has to offer, eventually earning several doctorates and master degrees. Sal’s ambitious attitude and vivid demeanor led him to a position of Salus University mascot, effective August 15.

In his free time, Sal enjoys swimming and spending time with his closest Salus friends.
