Dr. Darryl Horn Appointed As Assistant Professor

Darryl HornDarryl M. Horn, PhD was recently appointed assistant professor of Basic and Biomedical Sciences. In addition to his didactic, laboratory and small group instruction responsibilities, he will be actively involved in clinical education in regards to patient care, research and scholarship and support of the various programs at Salus, including within the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, the Osborne College of Audiology, the Physician Assistant Studies and Graduate Studies in Biomedicine programs in the College of Health Sciences.  

Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Horn served as a consultant at Salus, as well as his most recent position as an assistant professor of Biological and Physical Sciences at Keystone College in La Plume, Pa. He received his PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, his master’s degree in microbiology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
