On Friday, April 15, officials from the Chinese Optometric and Optical Association (CAAO) arrived in Elkins Park for a meeting with the University’s administration. The Association is the University’s partner for an on-campus, full-time Master of Science in Clinical Optometry (MSCO) degree program.
In addition to continuing discussions about the program, this visit provided the opportunity for COOA officials to meet with the students currently enrolled in the program. The students, who are faculty members of various universities within China, arrived on campus in October. Their program ends in October 2016, after an intense year of lectures, classes and clinical experiences with many of the Salus PCO faculty.
The students are: Feng Gu; Haixiao Huang; Nian Liu; Fengying Ren; Angcang Tang; Haiying Wan; Wei Xu and Yue Yan.
