This year’s annual NOSA (National Optometry Student Association’s) talent show once again showcased some of the members of the Salus community who played instruments, sang and danced to the delight of the audience and judges.
This year’s judges - Dr. Lorraine Lombardi, Dr. Caitlyn Foy, Dr. Laine Higa, Ms. Monae Kelsey, and Dr. Bhawan Minhas – had eight acts perform for them. The audience was treated to some great performances and the evening’s top winners were Erin Cote and Sophie Snyder, members of the Physician Assistant Class of 2016, who sang a medley of songs together.
Coming in right behind them were second place finisher, guitarist and singer Jeff Dabundo ’19OD, who performed an original song and Dr. Tracy Offerdahl, who demonstrated her remarkable skill as a flutist and placed third.
The enthusiastic audience was kept entertained by the evening’s hosts, Rebecca Sorenson ’18OD and Obie Faiq ’18OD.
