"My professors didn’t just teach me the clinical skills I need for my job — the faculty also created opportunities for me to grow as a leader. Their mentorship supported my pursuit of meaningful passions, including participating in international trips to help provide prostheses to individuals in underserved countries. When I wanted to make these experiences more accessible for other students and residents, one professors encouraged and supported the launch of a nonprofit. Through AccessAbility UnLimbited, four students have been able to participate in international prosthetic outreach trips for individual who would not otherwise have access to care."
