The Student Council is at the forefront of all student activities and serves as the liaison between students and administration, faculty, alumni, and the community.

The Council advocates and promotes the welfare of students, organizes social activities and intramural sports, and promotes a professional attitude toward the University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Osborne College of Audiology, and College of Health Sciences, Education & Rehabilitation. Student Council is comprised of the executive board, class officers who represent each respective program by year, registered student organizations, and two advisors, the Dean of Students and Associate Director of Student Engagement.

Executive Board

President - Hero Seto '25AUD

Hero Seto

Hello! My name is Hero Seto, I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, and my background is in voice, music education, and communication sciences and disorders.

Finding ways to give back to my community has always been a priority in my life. In the past, I have served as President of APSU's music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota, Resident Assistant of APSU, and Salus’s Vice President of Student Council. I am excited to come back and continue my service on Salus’s student council board.

During my post-bacc, I was a supervisor for Sarah Bellum's Bakery and Workshop, a volunteer-based program that assisted adults with acquired brain injury during their journey towards recovering cognitive and motor skills.

In my free time, I am an amateur triathlete, bookbinder, home chef, and chorister, but I love trying all sorts of new experiences

Vice President - Brittney Cullen '27AUD

Brittney Cullen

Hello! My name is Brittney Cullen, I am a current first year Audiology student here at Salus. I grew up in Hamilton, New Jersey and received my undergraduate education from Rutgers University–New Brunswick where I graduated with a double major in Linguistics and Psychology. During my time at Rutgers I was an active student leader, participating as a learning assistant, research assistant, and writing tutor. A fun fact about me is that I thoroughly enjoy reading and writing, so much so that I wrote a research paper, which has since been published under the research writing division of the Rutgers University school library. As I transition into my new role here at Salus, I hope to have a similar impact on the Salus community as I did at my undergraduate institution.

I will be serving as this year’s Executive Board Vice President and am thrilled to be given such a prestigious opportunity to advocate for my fellow peers. Using the skills I have developed in my previous roles, I look forward to planning and executing school-wide events including our Salus Awards Gala, the Salus Soiree, Salus Scoop, and many more!

I am excited to represent Salus on the Executive Board because Salus, as an institution, has always possessed an air of prestige. While applying to graduate schools, what really drew me into Salus was the early clinical exposure, diverse campus life, enthusiastic faculty, and hands-on curriculum. Additionally, having an institution that cultivates interprofessional practices is incredibly advantageous, but also a unique trait I did not find at any other facility. Salus goes above and beyond to ensure the student body is well prepared for successful educational and professional careers, which is why I am thrilled to be given this position and look forward to making a positive impact.

Executive Secretary - Evyn Stewart '25AUD

Evyn Stewart

Hello! My name is Evyn Stewart, I am an Audiology student in the accelerated program here at Salus. I have a BA in Linguistics, minor in Psychology with a background in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University where I was also a student-athlete and played field hockey for the University.

I chose Salus because of their small student to preceptor and professor ratio allowing for a more individualized learning experience and the exposure of clinic and patient care at the Pennsylvania Ear Institute starting in just the first semester.

I currently serve as the Executive Secretary of Student Council and am excited to support and provide information to my fellow classmates!

Executive Treasurer - Abigail Ramsaroop '25AUD

Abigail RamsaroopHello everyone! My name is Abigail Ramsaroop and I am an Audiology student. I am originally from Queens, New York. I graduated from St. John’s University in 2022 with a bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I also have a minor in theology.

I chose to study here at Salus for several different reasons. I liked that the curriculum included early hands on experience. I also like that Salus has a family feel to it and I am honored to be apart of that family now.

I served as Executive Treasurer for Student Council last year & I enjoyed the position immensely. I look forward to continue collaborating with other students across the multiple professions offered at Salus!

Executive Assistant - Kristen Battista '27AUD

Kristen BattistaHi! My name is Kristen Battista and I am currently a first year Audiology Student. I grew up in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and graduated from Loyola University Maryland with an Interdisciplinary major in Biology and Speech Language Hearing Sciences.

I am looking forward to serving in this role as I enjoy being a part of a collaborative team that works towards the greater good of the community.

Outside of audiology, I enjoy crocheting and managing my dog's social media account!

I am excited to be on the council to support my fellow peers and the community of Salus.
