By 2030, one in five Americans will be age 65 or older, creating unprecedented opportunities to innovate solutions that improve health, independence, and quality of life for older adults and their caregivers.
The Healthy Aging Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub is a university-wide initiative that brings together students, faculty, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and community members to develop innovative solutions for the challenges and opportunities associated with aging.
Through a unique partnership between Drexel University, Elkins Park Campus, and the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship, the Hub combines healthcare expertise, community engagement, and entrepreneurial thinking to transform ideas into real-world impact.
Our Mission
To create an interdisciplinary innovation ecosystem that designs, tests, and launches solutions that support healthy aging, caregiver well-being, accessibility, community health, and lifelong independence.
Opportunities to Get Involved
Student Innovation Pitch Competition
Graduate students, doctoral candidates, faculty, and interdisciplinary teams are invited to develop solutions addressing healthy aging challenges. Selected teams will receive mentorship, venture support, and the opportunity to compete for awards and funding.
