Annual Soiree

Students gathered at The Bellevue Hotel’s elegant XIX venue on Nov. 7 for an unforgettable Soiree filled with music, laughter, and celebration.

The evening featured gourmet dining stations, a lively DJ and dance floor, and stunning skyline views of Center City Philadelphia. Dressed to impress, attendees enjoyed great food, photos, and memories that made the night truly special. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Soiree 2025 a success!

Student Resource Fair

Dr. Ibironke with students at resource fairDrexel University’s Elkins Park Campus hosted a Student Resource Fair from Tuesday, Oct. 14, on the patio outside the café and around the pond.

In an effort to strengthen areas students identified as priorities, the event brought together a wide range of resources focused on counseling and wellness services, academic systems and support, financial aid and work study guidance, disability accommodations, tutoring, IT help desk resources, and student engagement.

Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Trunk or Treat

The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) participated in the Ambler YMCA’s annual Trunk-or-Treat event Saturday, Oct. 25, bringing festive fun and hearing health awareness to the community.

Students and Trunk or Treat event pic1With an estimated 500 to 800 attendees, families stopped by the SAA trunk to enjoy candy, University and clinical giveaways, and Halloween-themed “squishy” items like eyes, hands, ears, feet, and mouths.

The event was a huge hit with children and parents alike, and SAA members shared all the giveaways were quickly claimed, with just a small amount of candy left at the end.

The team thanked Alena Hackett, clinical community outreach coordinator, for her assistance and everyone involved for their support in making the event such a success. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with the community and share some Halloween spirit no spooky sounds required!

Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Movie Night

The Speech-Language Pathology Class of 2027 cohort gathered for a cozy and fun movie night, wearing pajamas while enjoying the film The Parent Trap.

Students shared laughs, discussed favorite moments, and strengthened bonds outside the classroom. Pizza, fresh salads, and snacks kept everyone fueled, making it a perfect evening to unwind, socialize, and celebrate the camaraderie of the cohort.
