This course will define the history of FNDs, their incidence/prevalence in various settings, pathophysiology, and common risk factors, as well as provide an overview of how to differentially diagnose FND from organic speech and language disorders. Guidelines for evidence-based evaluation, treatment, and interdisciplinary management will be provided.
