A native of “The Big Apple”, former aspiring news anchor, Dr. Kyomi Gregory, shifted professional gears upon completing a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders at the State University of New York at New Paltz State College.

Hailing from the Great White North, Dr. Bhawan Minhas is a first generation Indian Canadian, and both honored, and humbled by that fact. Her parents emigrated from India, and have been an unwavering source of support for both her and her siblings, providing access to a brighter future with increased opportunities.
With an initial vision of becoming a world-renowned journalist, Lisa Kuehn found that her strengths were more tailored to the fields of math and science, and began looking into alternative career paths – she eventually became focused on Physician Assistant Studies.
The University’s students joined faculty at the Fall Research Symposium, presented by the Student Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry (SAAO), where the latest ongoing research topics at Salus were presented.
