Drs. Mittelman, Monaco and Barker Featured Speakers

The University was well represented at the Delaware Military Medicine Association Symposium held on November 14. Salus president, Dr. Michael H. Mittelman, retired Rear Admiral and former deputy surgeon general of the US Navy, was the morning’s keynote speaker.

Salus and Arcadia University MOU

On Friday, December 18, President Mittelman and members of the Salus President’s and Academic Councils visited Arcadia University, where a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions was signed with Arcadia President Nicolette DeVille Christensen.

SOTA Community Collections

The University’s chapter of the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) spearheaded a collection of non-perishable food goods for local radio station WMMR’s Preston and Steve’s Campout for Hunger campaign at the beginning of the month.

Courtney Goode ’17OD Receives Scholarship Award

Third-year optometry student, Courtney Goode, has received the J. Pat Cummings Scholarship from the American Optometric Foundation (AOF).
