Faculty Focus: Nora Whittaker Jones
How many faculty members across the country can boast that they have opened for Bruce Springsteen? Well, a member of the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) department at Salus University can. Three-Dimensional Faculty Development Day: Returning for 2022
Brooke Kruemmling, PhD, COMS, associate provost, was excited to see all of the Salus faculty in “three dimensions” this year, as the in-person faculty social felt like “the first in a decade.” Although it has only been around two years since the last in-person social, pre-pandemic activities often feel like a lifetime ago.
Faculty across programs met in the Hafter Student Community Center on August 25, for an in-person reception recognizing new members, those who were promoted and those who officially received tenure while mingling and enjoying refreshments. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the University’s clinical program’s continued efforts to provide comprehensive vision care services and eyeglasses to underserved and uninsured children in the community in addition to hearing services.
