Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics
Salus University is excited to be launching this fall our inaugural cohort for the master’s program in Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P), which will be housed within the College of Health Sciences, Education and Rehabilitation.
Salus University has achieved candidacy status which is the first phase required by the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE). The next phase requires Salus to start teaching and then submit for full accreditation next May 2023. Attainment of Candidate for Accreditation status does not assure that the program will be granted Accreditation.
Students in this program will learn in closely-knit cohorts alongside skilled faculty who are ABC board-certified prosthetist-orthotists and licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The new laboratory facilities on the University’s Elkins Park, Pennsylvania campus, provides a state-of-the-art, dedicated training and learning spaces for students in orthotics and prosthetics.
Applications for admission to the MS in O&P now open! Return to this page and check back under Admissions for more information. In the meantime, we invite you to share your questions and thoughts by emailing OandP@salus.edu.
