Drexel University’s Osborne Audiology offers degree and non-degree programs via distance education. The purpose of our distance education programs is to offer practicing audiologists the opportunity to refine their knowledge and skills, stay abreast of developments in science and clinical practice, and expand their professional expertise. With courses taught by subject matter experts, the curricula are infused with the University’s core philosophy of combining advances in science and evidence-based practice to deliver audiological services of the highest quality. Our programs prepare audiologists to compete in today’s complex and dynamic health care environments.
The Doctor of Audiology (AuD) Bridge program is a two-year degree program for audiologists with a master’s degree in Audiology (or equivalent) who have at least three years of relevant work experience. In addition to required courses, the program offers a range of electives in core and focused topics, including concentrations in two domains. The Admissions Committee will review the need for an individualized program of study. All students are required to enroll in a minimum of 30 courses (45 credits), which includes two workshops. The program can be completed entirely online, with optional in-person workshops if desired.
Drexel University’s Osborne Audiology is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to grant the AuD degree to students who successfully complete all requirements of the AuD Bridge program.
